Overview: Abandoned two-span through truss bridge over Big Sandy Creek on the Rock Island Railroad east of Matheson
Location: Elbert County, Colorado
Status: Railroad line discontinued with tracks removed
History: Originally built 1883 by the American Bridge Co. as an eight-span bridge at Colona, Illinois, over the Rock River. Two spans relocated here in 1920 to replace an 1899 trestle. Rails removed in 1992.
