High Bridge (New York County, New York)
Oldest extant bridge in New York City. Built in 1848 to carry the original Croton aqueduct across the Harlem River into New York City. Five masonry arches replaced with a steel arch by the Corps of Engineers in 1927 to benefit river navigation.
