i was born and raised in helena my great uncle frank and my dad help paint the bridge and it was the first bridge on the mississippi that i ever drove across man theres so many memorys here

This bridge has been hit numerous times. Recently was a couple years ago when a crane on a barge hit it. The AHTD closed the bridge to repair the damage, but did not repair it totally.
